Show ARE AT HERMirAGE Almost one hundred delegates to the annual convention of the National Association As-sociation of Retail Grocers, which was held at tienyer last weok, spent yesterday yes-terday afternoon. In this city as guesis or the rolilll grocers of Ogden. The party arrjyed In a special train, stopping stop-ping offfor a few hours while on the way for a week's outing in the Yellowstone Yellow-stone park. With the visitors, who were delegates dele-gates from all parts of the cast, were Mr. and Mrs. J S. Carver. Mrs Frank Ilotallng and Mrs Joseph Flygare. Mr. Carver represented Ogaen at tho convention. con-vention. At the conclusion of the convention, con-vention, which was one of tho most successful ever held by the association, eighty of the delegates hoarded the Ohio special, which proceeded west over the Denvor & Rio Grande for Salt Lake City. The visitors spent yester day forenoon there, arriving in ugaen over the Short Line at 3 o'clock yesterday yes-terday afternoon. A very complete program of entertainment enter-tainment had been arranged by the local association. Special electric cars were in waiting at the Union depot when tho delegates arrived. They were Joined by about forty members of the Ogden organization' nnd takOD for a sightscolng trip about the citj and thon up the canyon. At the Hermitage Her-mitage grounds a fine lunch was served by the wives of the Ogden members. ' If the genuine surprise which was expressed by the visitors can be taken as ah indication, the stay In Ogden will be remembered by the delegates as one of tho most pleasant features of their entire convention trip. They had previously passed through the Royal Gorge and wltnessod other scenic wonders of the wCBt, but they also found much to admire In the Ogden Og-den canyon To those who were accustomed ac-customed to the rolling pralrlos of the middle west and western states, and very few of them had ever vltilted this state, the stato of Utah was a scenic revelation Many had never heard of Ogden and thore wore those who had never suspected sus-pected that it was n city of 30,000.
