Deaths in 1910 were exceptionally low, yet the excess of births over deaths was only 70,581, compared with SS4.0G1 in Germany. Dr Bertlllon concludes by saying that there Is no reason physiological- ly or economically which prevents France from increasing as a nation, and no motive for her to resign herself her-self to race suicide nn |
