Jan 2S Five wealthy Southern lumbermen will ' enter the federal prison here today to servo sentences for peonage. They are W. 3 TJoi.lnn nViar-f Tin llfl fhfr Dr. "W. E. Grace, C. C. Hilton, and E, S. Hlg-gins, Hlg-gins, all of Lockport. Ala. Hurlan and Gallagher will serve eighteen months and pay fines of ?5,000. Three others will serve thirteen months and pay $1,000 each. Their cases were the first to originate orig-inate In the South and the prosecu-1 tion was vigorously pushed by the department de-partment of justice. The case was taken twice before "President Tnft In hopes ho would sign pardons.
