Show College Coeds to Select Tin-up Bojr; Tref erred Man' For A W S Dance A contest ti select the "Utah' State pin-up boy", will be conducted con-ducted by the Associated Women Students organization at Utah State Agricultural college in connection con-nection with the annual preference prefer-ence ball December 1, according to Charlene Petterson, Garland, president of AWS. Coeds will be invited to enter pictures of their "favorite" boy friends, Lois Downs, Smithfield, contest chairman, explained. All pictures will be received next Tuesday in the men's lounge of the Commons building and will be on display until the night of the dance. A 15 cent entry fee will be charged for each picture. Contest judges will be Professor Moyle Q Rice, Professor Ina Doty, Marian Carlisle of Logan, member of student council, and Miss Peterson. All women students at the college will be invited to fill out forms indicating their "date preference" for the traditional turnabout ball. The man receiving receiv-ing the most invitations will be crowned as "most preferred man" during intermission ceremonies, Miss Peterson said. Committee in charge of the pin-up contest includes Billie Jean Nixon, Saratoga, Wyo., and Eros Hunsaker, Brigham city, publicity; Lorene Toone, Magna and Anna Lyle Price, Idaho Falls, Idaho, display, and Inez Dalpiaz, Helper, prizes. Alta Jolley, Boulder city, Nev., is general chairman of dance arrangements, ar-rangements, assisted by Anita Campbell, Logan, publicity; Mary White, Tremonton, orchestra and hall; Barbara Curtis, Payson, decorations; de-corations; Lila Stephenson, Helena, Hel-ena, Mont., programs and invitations, invi-tations, and Thirza Little, Cedar city, floor show. |
