Show AGGIE VETS ORGANIZE To , orientate men returning from duty with the armed forces and help them adjust to college work and civilian life, the Aggie veteran's organization has been founded at Utah State Agricultural Agricul-tural college, officials report. Men discharged from the armed arm-ed forces organized the society and names Arthur Johnson, New York city, chairman. They plan to help themselves and other men entering college after service dur. ing the war with any problem- The organization will act as mediator between the individual discharged servicemen and the veterans administration in Salt Lake city with problems concerning con-cerning provisions under the GI bill of rights such as pension, insurance, schooling, loans, and hospitalization. It will handle any problem of veterans on the campus by obtaining information for solution of various prblems which arise, Mr. Johnson stated. Men returning from A service automatically will become elib-ible elib-ible for membership in the organization or-ganization upon enrollment at USAC. Dr. Arden Frandsen, professor pro-fessor of psychology, has accept ed an invitation to act as faculty fac-ulty advisor for the group. The 40 charter members of the organization have set an initial luncheon meeting November 30 in the college Bluebird on the campus. |
