Show County Readies For Sixth Loan d! Howe Moffat, executive manager of the Utah War Fin-ance Fin-ance committee, will be speaker) at an organization meeting of Cache county volunteer workers for the Sixth War Loan drive to be conducted Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the Logan chamber of commerce headquarters. Kickoff for the drive is scheduled sched-uled for November 20. Cache county's quota is $1,250,000 of which $800,000 is to be raised by individual subscription. Announcement of community quota's will be made and latest sound moving pictures of European Euro-pean and Pacific battle fronts will be shown to those attending the session. H. R. Anderson, An-derson, president First National Banking company; N. D. Salisbury, Salis-bury, vice president First Security's Secur-ity's Logan Branch bank; Mayor William Evans Jr., C. W. Dunn, president Logan stake. Bennie J. Ravsteri, supervisor of . farm labor for Cache qounty; Ol-of Ol-of Nelson, prominent Logan contractor; con-tractor; Val W. Palmer, member of A. H. Palmer company; A. E-Anderson, E-Anderson, Ross Anderson, members mem-bers Anderson Lumber company organization; Alma Sonne, vice president First National bank; Edwin Ed-win Clawson, president Hyrum stake; Merle G. Hyer, prominent Lewiston farmer; Hazen W. Hill-yard, Hill-yard, president Smithfield stake: E. T. Ralphs, prominent Logan businessman; and Dr. D- C. Budge. Dr. Daryl Chase, director of the Logan Institute and Harold Fprn-off, Fprn-off, manager of Fornoff Music and Ben Franklin stores, will' direct the drive in Logan city. Mr. Fornoff will supervise wards in Logan stake and Dr. Chase the wards in Cache stake. Ernest R. Lee, manager of the Logan area. Carlisle, assistant to the . president, Utah State Agricultural college, will be chairman of the speakers bureau; John H. Moser, contractor, and W. W. Lundberg, manager Lundberg Buick company will be co-chairman of corporations corpora-tions and municipalities. A. W. Chambers of Smithfield; E. E. Hendricks of Lewiston, and John H- Schenk of College, all , prominent in agricultural circles, will be members of the Agricul 1 tural committee. |
