Show m. - ! Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Jensen welcomed a baby boy at their home last week. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Harrison attended a party in Richmond at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Woodland. About 22 of their old friends were there. Games and social so-cial chat were enjoyed. A delicious luncheon was served. The 4-H club had their exhibit of the work done during the season at the Cove meeting house. Five of the girls who had been in the club for four years were there, Joleen Allen, Janice Allen, Caxold Allen, Ila Hendricks and Reta Allen. Thirteen of the beginners begin-ners displayed their work and wore the dresses they had made ; this year, Bonnie Cornish, Carma Jean Comish, Grace Hendricks, Janet Pond, Ranay Allen, Layle Allen, Helen Allen, Marie Eskel-son, Eskel-son, Joan Hendricks, Shirley Lax-sen, Lax-sen, Ivaloo Frandsen, Nordis Allen, Al-len, Melva Rawlins. Mrs. Neta Allen Al-len conducted, singing under direction di-rection of Carol Allen, Janice Al. len accompanist; talk, Layle Allen; piano selection, Joan Hendricks-son, Hendricks-son, Carol Allen; fashion show by all girls; talk, Amy Kearsley of the Cache Stake board; talk, Fern Shipley of state board. Light re. freshments were served to all present. , Mr. , and Mrs. Ralph Day wexe in Cove for the week-end. A supper sup-per was served in the canyon by some of their friends in their honor. Their daughter Beth, who has been under the doctor's care, was able to come with them, us- ing crutches to get around. Mrs. Modena Affleck Murray was a visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Harrison Sunday afternoon. She was accompanied by Mrs. Murray and Miss Murray, her mother and sister-in-law of Wellsville. Modena is living in Al. berquerquqe, N. M. Mrs. Beth Craw is at a Logan hospital. A baby girl came to gladden the lives of she and her husband, who is in the armed forces. All concerned doing nicely. |
