Show j Board Lowers Retirement Age The Utah State Agricultural col' lege board of trustees has approved approv-ed a measure lowemg the retirement retire-ment age of college faculty members mem-bers from 68 to 65 years, effective effec-tive July 1, 1945, R. E. Bertnson, executive secretary, announced. At their meeting Monday night in Salt Lake City they also approved ap-proved the following appointments and resignations. George Q. Spencer, Spring Lake, apponited as emergency war food production assistant for Utah county; Fern Starr, instructor in foods and nutrition at USAC; Lillian Brehm, as instructor of textiles, and Oral iPugmire as instructor in-structor in child development, at USAC." Rene L. Brinkerhoff and Audrey Boyd were appointed stenographers stenograph-ers while the resignations of Gayle Moore, instructor in child development, develop-ment, and Annette Cardon Carlos, teacher at the Whit-tier training school, were accepted. The board also approved leasing the north half of the fieldhouse to the Kickes Engineering Co.. Des Moines, Iowa, for establishment establish-ment of a radio parts packing plant. |
