Show Board Completes Plans for School Final preparations for opening J Cache county schools September 4, assignments for bus drivers, custodians cus-todians and other miscellaneous workers were completed Thursday at the August meeting of the county;3Chool Karci, Supc .mten-dent .mten-dent J. W. Kirkbride reported to- day- j.&!i Carl Nyman of North Logan was appointed driver of the North Logan Lo-gan to South Cache high school bus succeeding Orvin Nyman, and Corlette Seamons of Benson, driver of the Benson-Smithfield Junior M high-North Cache high school bus succeeding Ephraim Faldev. Mr. Kirkbride reported that the district will operate 2 buses this year, including two new ones wnich will be placed on the Nevton-Oache Nevton-Oache Junction to North Cache high school routes. The board approved the contract with the Cook Transportation Company, Logan, to service the buses for the entire year. The request of Oliver Peterson, Petersboro, to have his daughter attend Logan Senior high school Instead of South Cache, with all expenses paid, was granted. This was made because of transportation transporta-tion difficulties. Permission was granted to the South Cache band to participate in the Brigham City Peach Days celebration September 15, Mr. Kirkbride announced. |
