Show Feed Wheat Now Available Effective immediatly. Comodity Credit corporation feed wheat may be used for any - class or weight of livestock or poultry, H. E. ' Larsen, member of the Utah state AAA committee advised livestock live-stock and poultry feeders and feed dealers today. Under previous regulations feed wheat could not be used as feed for all classes of livestock and poultry po-ultry except: 1. Hogs for market weighing over 200 pounds. -2. Beef cattle beyond "fair to good" fin. ish, and 3. Broilers being raised for sale as such or purchased as such, Mr. Larsen explained. LivestocK ana poultry feeders needing feed wheat should file application with their local AAA committee and feed dealers should file application direct with the Regional director ofthe CCC in Portland Oregon, Mr. Larsen said. The price to the purchaser is determined by the price in effect on the date the wheat is shipped. Wheat shipped to purchasers in Millard, Beaver, Iron, and Washington Wash-ington counties during August will cost $1.32 per bushel whereas where-as feed wheat shipped to producers produc-ers in all other counties in the state during August will cost $1.29 per bushel, Mr. Larsen said. |
