Show LEWISTON At the M. I. A. conlerence held Sunday, May 7 the M. I. A. of Lewiston First ward was reorganized. reor-ganized. Howard Shulberg, superintendent super-intendent of the young men's organization or-ganization and Helen Hyer, pres-dent pres-dent of the young women's organization or-ganization were honorably released with their associate workes. Orlo Jones was sustained as superintendent superin-tendent of the young men's organization or-ganization with Clarence Brown and Barson Goodey as counselors, counsel-ors, with Verle Hendricks as secretary. se-cretary. Ada Kent was sustained as president of the young women's wom-en's organization with Ercille Hyer Hy-er and Rosanna Stocks as counselors, coun-selors, with Maria Talbot as secretary. se-cretary. Howard; Shulberg and Helen Hyer has served in the M. I. A. organization for a number of years and they have been very efficient in their work. The Lewiston First ward honored hon-ored their mothers with a special spe-cial Mothers' day program at Sunday school on May 14, with - Superintendent Theon Wilson in charge. The program consisted of music, singing and reading with special tribute to mothers. Each mother was presented with a potted pot-ted plant. |
