Show : ' ' t& . ' ill MR. AND MRS. FRANCIS C. PRECE . . . observed golden wedding anniversary Monday. Cove Couple Observe Golden Wedding With Open House Mr. and Mrs. Francis C. Preece, lifelong residents of Cache ' Valley, Val-ley, were honored in observance of their golden wedding anniversary anniver-sary ; Monday at an open house reception held at the family home from 3 to 8 p. m. Mr. Preece was born October 24, 1869 in Franklin, Idaho a son of Mark - and Ellen Comish Preece. Mrs. Preece, the former Nina Jane Peck, was born January Janu-ary 20, 1888 in Richmond, a daughter pf Arthur and Ferinina Peck. They were married May 15, 1894. They have made their home in j Cove most of their life, where Mr. Freece has been active as a farmer and construction worker. Members of the church, Mr. Preece has served as a ward teacher and Mrs. Preeece has worked in the Relief Society organization. They are the parents of eight children, five of whom still are living: William Preece, Salt Lake City; Raymond Preece, Lewiston; Arthur Preece, Grace, Idaho; Mrs. Nettie Larsen, Baker City, Oregon and Mrs. Donna Evans, Brawley, California. They also have 31 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. |
