Show ("CLARKSTON j 4 i' CLARKSTON A shower was given Aug. 23 for Mrs. Arvil Moore at the home of Mrs. Andrew H. Jardine, Mrs. Moore was formerly Miss Laura Dahle, daughter of Mrs. Joseph N. Dahle, of Salt Lake City. The Dahle family were members mem-bers of Clarkston ward until the past year. 125 guests called from 3 until 7 p.m. The rooms were beautiful with cut flowers. Mr. and Mrs. Moore will make their home in Kansas City. Wayne Godfrey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Godfrey, has been to visit his parents. Wayne is in the U. S. army with headquarters in LeNore Griffin returned to her home in Salt Lake City after spending two weeks visiting relatives rela-tives in Clarkston. Mrs. Herman Thompson entertained enter-tained at a quilting on' Thursday. Luncheon was served to Mrs. Lottie Lot-tie Buttars, Mrs. Betty Thompson, Mrs. Etta Godfrey, Mrs. Phoebe Jardine, Mrs. Sybil Goodey, Mrs. Mattie Goodey, Miss Lottie Lue Buttars, Miss Thelma Thompson, and Mrs. Flossie Atkinson of Trenton. Mrs. Elma Peterson and children of Fielding, spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph G. Christensen. Mrs. D. B. Barson entertained at a quilting on Friday. Luncheon was served to six guests. Mr. and Mrs. Evan H. Bankhead of Wellsville were Clarkston visitors visi-tors on Wednesday. |
