Show Ration Notes j You have a job to do. That job is to make price control work in your community. You can do it every day you ghop. How? By asking just one question, "Is This the Ceiling Price?" Join the home front army of friends and neighbors neigh-bors who are assisting storekeepers storekeep-ers and customers to make wartime war-time price control. Some confusion has arisen over the discontinuance of the inspection inspec-tion of passenger tires. We want to emphasize again that you must keep your tire inspection records. Do Not Throw Them Away. You will need them when you go for your replacements. Victory gardeners have not only helped our war time food supply, but they have helped to keep points down. This year we have a larger army. This year the government mistake 40 per cent of the canned foods. Grow bigger and better gardens this year. You've helped already, for instance, in-stance, in 1943 canned peas were 16 points for a No. 2 can, today they are point free. Victory gardeners gard-eners were responsible for that point reduction. Grow more in '44. You can begin using Airplane Stamp Two, Book Three, on May 1 for buying a pair of rationed shoes. Like Airplane Stamp One, now valid, it will continue to be good indefinitely. If you still have Stamp 18 in Book One, remember it expires April 30. |
