Show ELIZABETH ROBISON HELD JANUARY 10 funeral services were held in the north morgan ward chapel last friday january at 1 P M under the direction of bishop E E anderson for mrs elizabeth hardy robison wife of mr B Y robison the opening song 1 I know that my redeemer lives was sung by bishop E E anderson assisted by the choir opening prayer was offered by elder james R rawle the second musical number was a violin solo ave maria ien rendered dered by mr lewis W christensen accorn accompanied by mrs R 13 sanford the speakers were horace heiner thos palmer mrs nettie durrant dunant dun ant 0 S heiner david robison and bishop hooper of davis county musical numbers were rendered by roscoe brough who sang unanswered yet and mrs bertha cook porter who sang oh love divine the closing song 1 I weed need thee every elvery hour was rendered by the choir Be benediction diction was offered joffere d by elder R R pry fry interment was in the north ward cemetery the grave be ing dedicated by elder C C geary no higher evidence of the respect and esteem in which she was held by the people of her old home in fact the entire community could be shown than was indicated by the large gathering assembled to pay tribute to this kindly noble and christian woman the editor is informed that at her late home in victorville Vict Vic orvllle torville cal where funeral services were also held held prior to shipping the remains to morgan the church house was filled to overflowing by sorrowing neighbors and friends and that one of the singers was a morgan girl miss mead crouch who is serving a mission in california at the services here the songs rendered were selected by mrs robison for the funeral of her son the poem which follows was written by the lady last mothers day and sent to each one lofther daughters it if was vai ife read at the funeral services by G S helner heiner from the heart of mother just a line from mother because it is mothers day just a line from mother who Is getting old and grey just to daughters to say she hopes that they may live to be old and grey and see many a happy mothers day the floral offerings were profuse and most beautiful among them were a large number of wreaths and boquete from friends of the family and business houses of victorville Vic torville I 1 truly may it bs be said that her passing leaves many an aching heart in the two communities in which she has made her life work on kindly ministrations to all in need of her unselfish service |
