cr rc JL A PRETTY AUTO BONN BONNETS ETS NOW recognized AS PART OF FEMININE EQUIPMENT new models shown are in no way inferior to those of previous seasons good examples of the best displayed the tha auto bonnet has made a new record of success during the past summer it has come cometo to be recognized as the proper thing and the essential thing for the aut olst and it has become a pretty affair A great number of pretty new models are shown tor for fall most ot of them made of bf taffeta over rice net foundations und and all ot of them finished with a veil which Is a part ot of the d design A good example Is shown here it Is a of light tobacco brown taffeta trimmed with lace and lace laca covered buttons the crown Is soft and platted plaited into a band about the face the edge Is a frill of plaited taffeta and the veil la Is arranged to be thrown over the face it if needed this model la is becoming to almost every one and is ia made in all the staple colors another model Is not so soft tor for it la Is made with a round stiff crown but the brim Is made over rice net and la Is therefore not rigid black taffeta laid in fine plaits covers the brini brim and I 1 light ight blue taffeta Is stretched over the crown A large square chiffon veil in light blue la Is finished with a border of black taffeta ribbon the veil la is laid over the hat falling on all sides A narrow box platting or of taffeta ribbon Is laid over the veil at the base of the crown and sewed to place here this confines the veil which may be thrown back at will this bonnet Is made in many color combinations as pink and black light N h Y 1 4 1 j 4 4 1 1 s ell 4 1 41 J green ereen and black while add black and Is very pretty in white and taupe and in solid colors JULIA BOTTOMLEY
