Show I CLERICAL FORCES MEET Wednesday morning, November 20, at the master mechanic's office, .Milford, a meeting was called of all the clerical forces and heads of each department employed , by the Union Pacific at Milford, to organize and maintain what will be known as office of-fice councils, to be held each month, for the purpose of bringing suggestions suggest-ions before the local committee in adjusting working appliances, health conditions, avenues of promotions and to create a better feeling of harmony har-mony and cooperation among the employes em-ployes and their superior officers. Mil ford has already b-en complimented on their cooperation and efficiency as the first on the unit. Prominent Milford citizens will tic invited to att"iid these meetings to help cooperate with the employes and officers here. Mr. W. II. Smith, superintendent, presided at the meeting as the acting chairman. Mr. C. A. Bailey was elected to chairmanship chair-manship for the December meeting. Miss Mary Hession was appointed as secretary. Local committee consists of 8. G. Hickman, representing (he mechanical department and Mr. A. E. Howeils. representing the transposition trans-position department. The meeting was well attended. |
