Show LIKES OCR CAXTELOPES Mr. deBrabant, while a guest last week at the Milford Htel, sampled some of our home grown cantclopes. Mr. deBrabrant is from Southern California, where they raise and ship 50,000 caj'loads of cantelopes per year, and a place where they know a good melon when they taste it-He it-He is a great lover aud admirer of the fruit and upon leaving the dining din-ing room he said he had never eater better melons than had been served him here in Milford. He also said that at this time of year the California Califor-nia crop had been marketed and that the city of Los Angeles would consume con-sume hundreds of carloads of such melons, at prices which would prove very profitable to the Utah grower, and suggested that another season, a small acreage might be planted here to try the crop out. |
