OCR Text	Show o "Breathitt county, Kentucky," says Collier's, "was due to furnish. 182 men by the draft, but 212 had enlisted in the regular army before the draft was drawn. That bunch of 212 was more than twice the number of enlistments in the same period in the entire state of Vermont." And Vermont was the home of the famous "Minute Men" of Colonial Colon-ial days. Ethan Allen, Ticonderoga, the Green Mountain Boys, are names that made Vermont famous. Surely the spirit of those old days has shifted to the South and to the West. : o
