OCR Text	Show Work on the Leonora mine is progressing pro-gressing satisfactorily is the report made by John Matson, president of the company. The Leonora is drifting drift-ing at a point 1600. feet northwesterly northwest-erly from the main shaft. This Is about 500 feet under ground. The drift is under the old stopes and in the next 50 or 60 feet it is expected to reach the ore bed. Work is also being carried on at a point 1000 feet east. This is on a contact between the monzonite and limestone. Here a shaft is being sunk on a vein. It is down 35 feet.
