Show SECRETARY ARROWHEAD TRAIL WANTS LOG. Says Vtah Needs Non-Partisan Road Commission to Get Better Roads. Mr. D. A. Webster, Editor Beaver County News, Milford, Utah. Dear Sir: We have considerable inquiry as to the road from Milford to Ely, Nevada, Ne-vada, and are writing you to ask you II you can give 'us any information, informa-tion, or can direct us to anyone who can. If anyone has logged the road, we. would, of course, like to have a copy of it. If that has not been done, we would like to know as accurately accurate-ly as possible the total mileage and the approximate distances between stopping places, water, etc. Road conditions, grades, heavy sand, or other characteristics would be welcome. We note with pleasure your con-tinned con-tinned fight for good roads, and wt-, wt-, -trust you will keep it up. Until Utah gets a non-partisan road commission, com-mission, with some permanency in office, the work Is going to be painfully pain-fully slow. The action on Monday last of the I'tah county commissioners In pro-- pro-- - vlding in the tax levy for a few miles of concrete road is a good sign, si ml I am sincerely hoping the newly formed Utah Better Roads Association Associa-tion will accomplish something. Trusting you can get the information infor-mation asked for, and assuring you of our desire to co-operate with yon. I nra. Yours truly, F. V. OWEX. . |
