Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS State Engineer's Office, Salt Lake City, Utah. August 30, 1917 Notice is hereby given that Edgar Laurence Mortensen, whose post office of-fice address is Parowan, Utah, has made application in accordance with the requirements of the Compiled Laws of Utah, 1907, as amended by the Session Laws of Utah, 1909, 1911 and 1915, to appropriate five (5) cubic-feet of water per second from the West Fork of Sheep creek, Beaver County, Utah. Said water will be diverted at a point which lies 7 50 feet west and 240 feet north of the southeast corner of the northeast north-east quarter of Section 3 5, Township 29 south. Range 17 west, Salt Lake base and meridian, and conveyed by means of a ditch for a distance of 900 feet and there used from January Janu-ary 1 to Deceniber 31, inclusive, of each year, to irrigate 320 acres of land embraced in the east half and southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 25, the southeast south-east quarter of the southeast quarter quar-ter of Section 26, the east half and southwest quarter of the northeast quarter and the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 35, township and range aforesaid. This application is designated . in the State Engineer's office as No. 7279. All protests against the granting of said application, stating the reasons rea-sons therefor, must be made by affidavit affi-davit in duplicate, accompanied by a fee of $2.50, and filed in this office within thirty (30) days after the completion of the publication of this notice.
