OCR Text	Show SNARED BY PROHIBITIVE FREIGHT RATE THE hay situation for Beaver county is rather discouraging. There is a way out for the man who has the means to purchase stock to feed. The freight rate of $5.25 to Salt Lake City is prohibitive and places us at a great disadvantage. With the largest crop "in ten years southern Utah is without a market because of this prohibitive freight rate. And the Salt Lake Route sees no way of helping out on the situation. situ-ation. This is the year for stock men to get busy and the year when every hay raiser should be more or less a stock man. It is always better to feed the hay than to sell it.
