They have made hundreds and hundreds hun-dreds of garments for the comfort of the boys at the front. They have used up all of the material furnished and all the money available with which to purchase the needed supplies. sup-plies. Now more supplies must be bought and the need is becoming more and more urgent as the war proceeds. Wounded soldiers, soldiers sol-diers fighting in the trenches and aviators flying in the cold air of' the Mgh altitudes must be supplied with the many warm and comfortable comfort-able garments which the Red Cross is willing to. supply. Today a systematic effort started to supply the needed funds for this work. Every man who draws a pay check will be asked to give a portion por-tion of it no matter how large or how small and then to agree to contribute the same , portion each month to the Red Cross fund. The Masonic Lodge of Milford has started start-ed the good work by contributing the proceeds from the rents from the Opera House each month. That will be not less than $20 per month-Merchants, month-Merchants, clerks, railroad employes and everybody in fact is requested to follow this splendid example and contribute "regularly to the Red Cross fund. A dance is to be given each week where there will be booths erected from which candy, popcorn, etc., ill be sold to help swell the fund. Negotiations are also on for the use of the Utah Theatre at intervals for benefit performances for the j same good purpose. Get your name enrolled and Join the forces at home to support the forces at the front. Give at least a little and give it regularly.
