Show CHRIST1ANSCIENCE "Christian Science" is the subject sub-ject of the lesson-sermon to be read by the Christian Science I Society in Milford Sunday, December Decem-ber 26. The Golden Text is: "Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price" (Isaiah 55: 1). Among the Scriptural citations is the following: "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort com-fort of the scriptures might have rope" (Romans 15: 4). Correlative to the citation is the following from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Scrip-tures" by Mary Baker Eddy: "The footsteps of thought, rising above material standpoints, are slow, and portend a long night to the travel-leer; travel-leer; but the angles of His presence pre-sence the spiritual intitution that tell us when 'the night is far spent, the day is at hand' are our guardians in the gloom" (p. 174). |
