Show SOUTH MILFORD The Social Hour club met with Mrs. 'Claii Giilins Thursday. A short business meeting was held and plans for the annual July picnic pic-nic in Beaver clanyon were discussed. dis-cussed. A review and comparison of past and modern musical composers com-posers was given by Mrs. CBarles Allred who also demonstrated their works. A lovely two-course luncheon was served to 12 members mem-bers and one visitor, Mrs. Milton Albrecht. The June 20th meeting will be with Mrs. Kent Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Weber are business visitors in Los Angeles this week. -La Burta Corbridge of Miners-vine Miners-vine is visiting at the Duart Evans home. The Nimble Thimblers 4-H club girls, sponsored by Mrs. Leonard Bowen, gave an apron and overall dance at the club house Friday night. They sold punch and popcorn. pop-corn. Music was furnished by the Thompson orchestra. A nice sum was realized to begin their year's activities and all had a jolly time. iGuy Goodwin and Mrs. Ken Hollis and children from town were Sunday dinner guests at the Ben Lewis home. Mrs. A. J. Jackson is quite ill and is undergoing! treatmerit in the Cedar City hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elmer and son Gail spent three days in Salt Lake City, their son Don returning return-ing with them. He attended Westminster college there this year. Mrs. E. A. Moyes and tyo children chil-dren are visiting her brother, William Baker, and family. Mr. and Mrs. M. Myers, Obra Myers, Vic Myers and Ray Mes-singer Mes-singer surprised Mrs. Helen Gil-lins Gil-lins on her birthday June 8th, bringing gifts and refreshments and spending a delightful evening. eve-ning.
