Show Funeral Is Held ForOdinGressmen! Funeral services were held . Thursday afternoon of last week in the local L. D. S. chapel for! Odin Grossmen, 62, who succumbed suc-cumbed to heart trouble after a period of illness extending over teveral years. The services were in charge of j Bishop Alvin H. Baker and he, with former Bishop George H. Fyre, were the speakers. Musical Musi-cal numbers included a vocal solo by Bishop Baker, a violin solo by Mrs. Macel Rogers Horton and a quartet number by Bishop Baker Mrs. J. M. Hughes and Mr. and .Mrs. Vance Fisher. The opening prayer was offered by Charles i Beard and the benediction by Mrs. Jay Nelson. Burial took place in the Minersville cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by Bishop Bish-op Charles Jameson. Mr. Gressmen was truly a native na-tive of Beaver county, having been born near the Lincoln mine, north of Minersville, where, at one time, was located a small but thriving community by the name of Lincoln. The date of his birth was August 1, 1S77, and he was married July 3, 1902. The family made their home in western! Beaver county, coming to Milford to reside permanently about eight years ago. His widow and eight children survive him. The children are: John and Elmer Gressmen of Lark, Orvil of Goshen, Mrs. Rose Casey of San Diego, California; and Mrs. Ruby Davidson and Howard, How-ard, Barbara and Ruth Gressmen, all of Milford. I |
