Show Minersville Class MaksMilfordTour Tuesday was a gala day, apparently, appar-ently, for Minersville third grade students and some others who, in charge of Miss Helen Johnson of Huntington, the third grade teacher, teach-er, made a tour of the Milford places of interest, including the Union Pacific station, the airways radio station, the airport, the Valley Val-ley creamery and the News office. The fact that we. had difficulty keeping their interest in The News plant when they heard "another train" whistle, was no fault of ours, but each one in the party has as a souvenir of The News visit a line of type, cast on our linotype machine, and bearing their name and address. Among those in the party were Art Myers, Lorraine Davis, Colleen Col-leen Goff, Boyd Rollins, Velva Myers, My-ers, Jack Carter, De Von Goodwin, Clark Hardy, Bernice Bradshaw, Clarence Corbridge, Maurine Hall, Lee Banks, Glen Rollins, Glen Banks, Nona Eyre, Bernice Jame- son, Cordell Griffiths, Franklin Williams, Raynola Rollins, Gladys j Myers, Mrs. Jleen Jameson and Miss Johnson. |
