Show LD.S. Church Notes Sacrament Services Church services Sunday evening, October 31, will be under the direction di-rection of the Mutual Improvement Improve-ment association. Once each month this organization has charge of the evening services. On this particular particu-lar evening the program will be built around the general theme of the Mutual, which is taken from the 24th Psalm, third to fifth verses, for this year. Most of the participants will be high school students. There will be short talks given by Fay Lyman, Hal Fisher, Carol Johnson, Jay Jeffers and Peggy Lee. Efcme splendid musical numbers are being prepared pre-pared to be interspersed with the talks. They will consist of a sousaphone solo by Phillip Carlisle, Car-lisle, a clarinet solo by Bill Kirk, and a vocal duet by lone Sedgwick Sedg-wick and Selma Johnson. Everyone is welcome, and it is hoped that many will take advantage advan-tage of this opportunity to sec and ' listen to some of the young people peo-ple of the community. Services begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. M. I. A. Each Tuesday evening, beginning at 7:30 p.m., the Mutual Improvement Improve-ment association holds its regular re-gular meeting. This meeting is open to all members of the community com-munity who are interested in recreational activity, along with spiritual development. There are classes for young and old alike which are taught by capable and interesting .teachers. Why not come out and get acquainted with the M. I. A. and enjoy the activity that takes place there? Bring your friends, relatives, and "in-laws" for an enjoyable evening each week. a |
