Show I. Altman was a business visitor in Salt Lake the fore part of the week. Mis Virginia Barter, who is a freshman at Westminster college in Salt Lake, is visiting with home folks. Mrs. Delia Dallin, fnee Delia Kirk) left for her home in Spring-ville Spring-ville Saturday, . after visiting in Milford several day. Daphne and Barbara Fromm, former students of the Milford high school, were down from Salt Lake, visiting over the week-end with friends.,, "Mrs. Douglas Miller of Los Angeles, California, visited a few days this week at the home of her sister, Mrs. Grover Cuddy. She and the Cuddys spent last Saturday Satur-day at the Lehman caves. ? W. Robert Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Martin, who was operated Tuesday of last week I for appendicitis, is reported getting get-ting along nicely now though his condition was extremely critical for a time. Wakfen Blackburn, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.- A. Bingham, arrived home October 2d from Hamilton field, California, where he has been in the air service the past seven and half months. He will spend a month with home folks and friends. , Mrs. Ray Malstrom entertained the Bie Vour bridge club at her home Monday night with Mrs. Wilson Moore winning the house prize. Thpse present were Mes-dames.B. Mes-dames.B. E. Hutchins, J. H. Han-Ion, Han-Ion, Lloyd Lee, George Moore, T. C. Jeffers, Grover Cuddy and Douglas Miller. The weather for the period of the annual deer-hunt migration has thus far been almost too warm for comfort and decidedly too warm for safe-keeping of the meat except with extreme care but despite de-spite these conditions and the fact that many of the big bucks are still supposed to be at the higher elevations, the 1937 hunt promises to be the most successful in many years. From all indications, there are going to be very few that are unsuccessful in "filling up" among Milford hunters. Mrs. Thorald White was hostess to her bridge club last Thursday night. Those present were Mrs. Leah Richards, Mrs. Eva Stone-hocker, Stone-hocker, Mrs. Alice Carlson, Mrs. Jannett Kohler, Miss Gladys Coleman, Cole-man, Mrs. Delia Dallin and Mrs. Melba White. Mrs. Richards was the winner of the high points prize, Mrs. Stonehocker high honors prize and Mrs. Carlson consolation prize. Mr. and Mrs. Karl S. Carlton' left Monday afternoon on their an-ual an-ual trek to sunny California, where they will spend the winter. They went by way of Ely, Eureka and Austin, Nevada, and! will spend some time in Sacramento and the northern part of California before proceeding southward. Mrs. J. R. Murdock jr. entertained entertain-ed her bridge club her home Wednesday evening with Mrs. J. A. Weston wining high points prize, Mrs. E. L. Smith high honors prize and Mrs. George Fernley consolation prize. Others present were Mrs. Myron Lewis, Mrs. D. S. Williams, Mrs. George Moore and Mrs. Spencer Schow. Mrs. A. A. Mclntyre was hostess to her bridge club Wednesday night. Those present were Mes-dames Mes-dames Ralph Cook, GroveY Black, Faye Bradfield, Ray Mills, Ross Palmer, Clarence Grimshaw and B. T. Walker. Mrs. Walker was the winner of the high points prize, Mrs. Grimshaw high honors prize and Mrs. Mills consolation prize. Among those from Milford spending the week-end in Salt Lake, in addition to local school teachers, were Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Jeffers and children, Jay and Vera; Mrs. Wilson Moore and daughter Margaret, Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Stewart, Mrs. Frank Kuchen-meister Kuchen-meister and daughter Shirley, Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Waddingham, Mrs. J. R. Murdock jr., Mrs. D S. Williams, Wil-liams, Miss Virginia Ryan, Mrs. J. M. Hughes and daughter Doris, Mrs. E. R.
