Show A COOI) MAN TO VOTE FOR Ij. L. (I!ish) Taylor, Moab publisher who is a candidate for the Republican nomination for congressman from this district, paid The News a fraternal visit Friday afternoon of last week and it afforded us real pleasure to introduce him to some of the people of Milford. He had only a limited time to spend here in Milford, however, and the number he was able to meet Was all too few. "Bish" is a friend of ours of some 25 years standing, both he and the writer having started in the newspaper business in adjoining counties, when both of us were barely old enough to vote. Though remaining at the helm of the Grand County Times-Independent throughout that time, "Bish" has had broad experience of a civic nature, serving at present as member of the county commission and previously pre-viously as town clerk and member of the school board. With sifie interests in the livestock business, he is also a member of restock advisory board for that part of the state under Liic Taylor grazing setup and has made two trips to Washington in this capacity. It was this same gentleman whom this paper "nominated" "nomi-nated" for governor in the Ruminator column of January 5, 19:!9, realizing- to the fullest his exceptional ability to fill that job 'and for the office of congressman he would be equally fit. A vote for L. L. Taylor for the nomination as congressman congress-man in the Republican primary September 3 will be a vote for a man of whom you will be proud! M |
