Show SOUTH MILFORD A 111 n s t delightful party describes the lawn party held at the Leonard Leon-ard rSowen home Saturday evie-ning, evie-ning, when members of the Social Hour club entertained their husbands hus-bands with fried chicken, corn-on-cob and watermelon. About 30 people enjoyed the music, stories and games. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rollins of Adamsville are visiting at the Horace Corbridge home. Mrs. Walter Weber's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Stanley, and brother Melvin, spent a few days here; then she accompanied them on a visit to Zion and Bryce parks, where they were joined by Miss Ethel Stanley. Miss Lenora Bowcn is visiting in Salt Lake City this week. The Social Hour club met with Mrs. Jake Wieber last Thursday. The business meeting and discussion discus-sion of plans were followed by sewing and fancywork. Because of the fair no further meeting will be held until September 19, when Mrs. McKnight will give a book review. Lovely!, cakes and ice cream were served to 14 members. mem-bers. Visitors were Mrs. Harold Henderson and Mrs. George Smith, the latter becoming a member. Charles Allred was agreeably surprised Thursday 'hen two sisters and their husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wachtel and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Richter, and a brother, D. C. Allred, and wife, of Fort Morgan, Colorado arrived for a few days visit the first time for all of them to get together to-gether in 18 years. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Cates and wee daughter of San Fernando, California arrived .Friday for few days visit with home folks. Miss Fern : Shipley and Hyrum Steffen were present. Miss Shipley's talk on sewing was most instructive. Talks given by the girls were "Fabrics ' by Alta Limb, and "Grooming" by Chloe Lewis. There were nine people present. ; The Nimble Thimblers 4-H girls met with Mrs. Leonard Bowen Thursday. Miss Shipley and Hyrum Steffen were in attendance. at-tendance.
