John Douglass and Ed Haymore of Lcs Angeles were overnight guests Thursday of last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David S. Williams. Mr. Douglass is a brother to Mrs. Williams. Catholic Mass will be served in Milford Sunday, April 14, in the I. 0. 0. F. hall at 8:30 a.m. The Rev. Robert J. Murphy of Roosevelt Roose-velt W'ill be the server. He will be remembered as the Paulist priest who was in Milford four years ago with the trailer church, doing missionary work. The Ladies Literary club met at ! the home of Mrs. Waivie Peterson Peter-son Thursday evening, March 28. Delicious refreshments were served serv-ed by the hostess to Mrs. Asenith Pool, Mrs. Emma Smith, Mrs. Ruth Williams, Mrs. Jennie Gos-pill, Gos-pill, Miss Gladys Gospjll, Mrs. Lucy Hendrickson and Mrs. Mae Peak. Mrs. Gospill reviewed the book, "Suns Go Down" by Flan-nery Flan-nery Lewis. "Suns Go Down" is a history of the interesting mining town, Virginia City, in Nevada. The next meeting of the club will be held at the home of Mrs. Pool on Thursday, April 11. Mrs. Smith will give the review. M |
