Show Comments On Works Of Master Metaphysician Are Offered "Christian Science" is tho subject of the Lesson-Sermon which will be read in First Church of Christ Scientist, Sci-entist, of Mili'ord on Sunday, June 2.r. The Golden Text reads: "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the ligl(t shined" (Isiah !:2). Among the citations included from the Hible is John 1-1:12: "Verily, verily, ver-ily, I say unto you, He that believeth on' me, the works that I do shall lie do also; anil greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. The following correlative passage from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Kddy also forms a part of this Lesson-Sermon: "Our Master taught no mere theory, doctrine, or belief. It wiij the divine Principle of all real being which he taught and practised. Jlis proof of Christianity was no form or system of religion and worship, wor-ship, but Christian Science, working out the harmony of Life and Love" (p. 2C). |
