Show BEAVER Miss Alice Jones of Milford spent the week-end at Beaver with her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. George U. Valentine. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Yardley are rejoicing over the arrival of a 9-pound 9-pound boy at their home March 15. Mrs. Mary Farnsworth of Joseph is visiting with her mother, Mrs. Mary A. Briggs, and other relations for a couple of weeks. J. Haycock of Salt Lake City is visiting his daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Black. Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Parkinson are rejoicing over the arrival of a little girl at their home March 15th. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Williams of Caliente, Nevada are visiting at the home of his mother ,Mrs. Dorothy Williams. Mrs. Abe Murdock is expected home this week from Washington, D. C. where she went late in February with her husband, Congressman Abe Murdock, for a six week visit. A wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Clark Goodwin was held at Democratic Headquarters Saturday evening. Games and dancing were the entertainment of the evening with a late lunch served to one hundred relatives and friends of the young couple. The Relief Society annual celebration celebra-tion of the Heaver wards was held jointly at the West Ward Chapel March 17 at 2:00 o'clock, there was given a wonderful program, then, at 3:30, lunch was served to over three hundred. At night a wonderful social dance was held in the I.egion hall with a large crowd of pleasure seekers seek-ers in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Robinson ami Mr. and Mrs. Royal Robinson of Min-ersville Min-ersville were the guests of their father, Mr. James K. Robinson Saturday. Sat-urday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clothier of Iron Springs were dinner guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schwab. Ranger Christensen anil Mrs. Chris-tenscn Chris-tenscn spent last week at Salt Lake City taking in the state basket ball tournament. April 2Hth |
