Show Bridal Shower A -bridal shower was given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Singleton at the L. D. S. meeting house at Minersville Min-ersville Wednesday evening, March 15. The affair was given by the bride's father, T. E. Gillins, and' Mrs. Laura Sherwood. After a nice program, pro-gram, dancing was enjoyea by aooi.t 175 guests from Milford, Minersville Adamsville and Beaver. A dainty-lunch dainty-lunch was served at 11-30. The couple received many beautiful gif's. Mi-, and Mrs. M. H. Pool Saturday-night Saturday-night entertained at their home, Mrs-Bernice Mrs-Bernice Hutchins, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. R. Murdock, Mr. ar.d Mrs. Rue Neil-sen, Neil-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Smith, Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Kirk, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nichols, Mr. and Mrs. A. Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Fern'.ey and Mc. and Mrs. LaMar Outzen. ! The evening was spent in playing bridge. Mrs. Outzen and Mr. Murdock Mur-dock won the first prizes and Mrs. D. L'. Kirk and George Fernley the con-! con-! soiation prizes. Luncheon was served serv-ed at twelve o'clock. The Chiquita club met Thurslav night. Mrs. T. Campbell took the place of Miss Elenor Hardy, who has gone to California. Miss Loretta Murdock won the prize for points and Mildred Killam won the prize for honors. |
