Show TWO WET SNOW STORMS VISIT MILFORD SECTION Whether or not the wellkuown wet attitude of the present congress had something to do with it, at least five inches of sopping-wet snow fell between midnight and 10 o'clock las'. Friday morning, the beginning of the j storm being accompanied by an elec-1 trical display of no small propor- j tions. On Tuesday the storm was repeated on a smaller scale and the surrounding country has come in for needed moisture which will be of incalculable in-calculable value. j A foot of new snow at the power plant in Beaver canyon was repoited; as a result of the first storm and this has undoubtedly been heavily added to. Inc Mentally, these later snows have always been found to benefit the Minersville and Milford irrigable irri-gable areas more than the earlier .-nowfall for the reason that the late snow runoff invariably serves to fill the reservoir supplying these two communities. pril 2Sth |
