Show SCHOOL PLAY SET FOR FRIDAY NIGHT At last, work on the school play has lu-eii completed, and we are very happy to announce that "Laugh Clown" will he presented Friday niLht, March 21, l'.i::.'! at eight o'clock in the high school auditorium. The play is one that has a universal univer-sal appeal. It is a comedy mirth quake in three acts. The action is centered around the theft of a $40,-OIH) $40,-OIH) diamond purchase by Mr. Arthur Hurley the part taken by Norman Baxter. Who is the thief? Can it be Danny Polling, a young man who has been mixed up in jail (Billie Tribole) ? or maybe it is Fritz Benton, ex-convict (taken by Alden Johnson) ? Other interesting parts are Mrs. Hurley (taken by Helen Clark) who nearly "f lightens poor Alden to death" when she yells at him; Patricia Pat-ricia Hurley (Ina Smith) who falls in love with a chauffeur. ! Really, if looks could kill, both Maxine Kirk ami Bob Sherwood would have been dead long ago. The hatred they show for each other is surprising. Anyway, you're all invited to be present at the tea party given at the Hurley home Friday evening'. I know you'll learn a lot about table etiquette from Fritz Benton. |
