Show Bebe Daniels Stars in Crook Drama of Action, Thrills Tomorrow brings to patrons of the Victory Theatre, an unusual Radio Pictures' treat. Bebe Daniels and Ben Lyon, Hollywood's Holly-wood's ideal sweethearts, "team" together to-gether in the all-talking crook-ro-nlance, "Alias French Gertie." This is their first appearance together, togeth-er, and Miss Daniels' first straight dramatic role since the advent of the talkies. Adapted from "The Chatterbox," a successful play by Bayard Veiller the role imposes a test of Miss Daniels' dialogue abilities. One third of the star's lines are delivered in French the other in the argot of the undw world. It goes without saying that Bebe adds new laurels to her talkie fame. Ben Lyon, as the smooth, handsome light-fingered Jimmy Hartigan is well cast, and is especially convicing in the romantic scenes opposite his financee. George Archainbaud directed.
