Show JAYNE SLOAN OPENS DRIVE FOR RED CROSS The lied Cross Roll Call was inaugurated in-augurated on the eve of Armistice Day with the enrollment of Mr. Andrews, An-drews, principal of the Milford High school. Mr. Andrews received his pin at the meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association from Miss Jayne Sloan the student Roll Call committee. Mrs. Jefferson addressed the meeting in behalf be-half of the Red Cross. Mrs. Frank Kuchenmeister canvassed canvas-sed the members of the Lions club, several of whom took out contributing memberships of five dollars each. The club's response has been most gratifying. grati-fying. Mrs. Lee Gray will canvass the Methodist church congregation. Mrs. Roy Miller has arranged to visit the members of the Relief Society. Mrs. Goodwin and Mrs. Davis have charge of the enrollment in Frisco. Mrs. Haskell is enrolling the South ' " Milford membership. The attractive window displays on main street were planned by Miss n Dorothy Murdock. Mr. Raymond Taylor has charge of publicity, Mr. " Harold Cline and Mrs. Edna Parrish have presented the campaign before the various organizations of Milford. Membership is urged by Bishop Bird and the Rev. Shepherd who gave special spec-ial place to it on Red Cross Sunday, November 9th. The Milford Chapter has always re sponded with a full quota of membership member-ship and Milfordites have made generous gen-erous donations wherever called upon Seventy dollars were sent to the Davis county (lood relief from the chapter treasury and voluntary contributions. Two tonsil operations were paid for last winter, in addition to carrying on the regular production activities. A charming layette was sent from South Milford to a soldiers family. Let us remember that the American National Red Cross sent us $250 to be distibuted here a year ago at the time of the (lood.
