Show FIRST SNOW STORM : AND ZERO WEATHER : FREEZE UP MILFORD The first snowstorm of the season starting here Friday night and continuing con-tinuing intermittently until Wednesday Wednes-day morning opened up an early winter wint-er with zero weather and 6.8 inches of ' snow, according to figures furnished by Charles Beard, United States weather observor for Milford. Snow started falling Thursday night while the temperature was still 29 above zero. Less fell Friday about .3 inches and the temperature fell to 22 and Saturday, though the snow fall consisted only in small flurries too in-, considerable to measure, the temperature tempera-ture reached its lowest point, 0. Sunday Sun-day showed a marked rise in temperature, tempera-ture, 22, and an increase in snowfall, .5 inches, while on Monday with the temperature up to 29, the heaviest snow fall of the week occurred, 5 inches. in-ches. Summing up weather conditions for last week, Mr. Beard stated that although al-though this first storm was not unusually un-usually early, as storms frequently come as early as October, it was unusual un-usual in that it presented zero weather weath-er which does not ordinarily occur this early in the year.
