Show ATTENTION TURKEY AND CHICKEN RAISERS On account of stormy weather the Beaver County Poultry Association meeting scheduled for February 14 was postponed until the weather and roads improve. All those interested in buying bronze turkey poults, which may be paid for in the fall, please phone or write to Mrs. C. G. Haskell at Milford, or Lew Mar Price at Beaver. The poult orders must go in by the 1st of March, but each order ord-er will be sent in as received. The poults will be 45 cents each delivered with a 10 per cent down payment, the balance to be paid through the Utah Poultry Producers Association at selling time. If as many as 4,000 poults are ordered through the association as-sociation in Beaver county, the price will be 43 cents delivered. Those keeping turkey hens will be interested interest-ed in knowing that arrangements have been made for the same hatchery hatch-ery to buy turkey eggs at 15 cents a piece. Good prices have been received from a number of hatcheries for baby chicks and those wishing to buy should let their requirements be known so as to take advantage of better prices in larger numbers ordered. or-dered. All who are not members of the Beaver County Poultry Association Associa-tion who want to buy poults or chicks through the association may become members by paying 25 cents yearly dues and thereby enjoy the values of the association. Before the arrival of the poults a poultry specialists from the Agricultural Agricul-tural college will hold a public meeting meet-ing here under the auspices of the Beaver County Poultry Assn., and discuss the brooding and feeding of poults and prevention of disease. |
