Show UNIDENTIFIED YOUTH KILLED BY TRAIN IN LOCAL FREIGHT YARD An unidentified youth, about. 23 years of age was fatally injured early ear-ly Saturday morning in the Milford irieght yards. It is supposed that he attempted to board a freight train that passed through here at 4:15 a. m. He was found about an hour later la-ter by William Baker, a railroad employee, em-ployee, who notified authorities. The lad wasi still alive. One arm was mangled and lie had a severe scalp wound. He was semi-conscious, but unable to give his name. Dr. Parrish was called and took him to the hospital, where the injured arm was amputated, but the youth died at about 11 o'clock the same morning. The victim was fairly well dressed, but there were no identification marks on his clothing or body other than a tattooed number "6146" on his right shoulder. All efforts of the railroad company and town officials to secure information informa-tion regarding relatives or friends have failed so far. The body has been embalmed and is being held at the Southern Utah mortuary in hopes hop-es that relatives may be located. |
