Show LOCALS and PERSONALS S. C. Miller, of Washington, D. C, was here last Friday on business connected con-nected with the airways. Mr. Swayze is an ex-railway conductor, having worked out of Milford for years. J. S. (Sam) Hanks, of Salt Lake City, was in Milford Monday. Mr. Hanks is a former Milford resident and used to be in business as a druggist drug-gist here several years ago. C. E. Burgess returned Tuesday night from Salt Lake City with a new Essex coupe which he had purchased through L. G. Clay, local dealer. Fred Levi recently took delivery of a new Whippet '4' coupe, purchased pur-chased through A. E. Smith. Mr. Smith alo sold a Whippet '6' sedan to J. H. Handley. Delivery has been made of this car also. j Mrs. Fred Levi was in Salt Lake City last week visiting friends and relatives. j Miss Grace Turner returned last week from Los Angeles, where she had been visiting, and is again employed em-ployed at the Milford Pharmacy. Miss Viese Fotheringham, who was working work-ing at the Pharmacy during Miss Turner's absence, is employed at the Corner Confectionery. Milton Hunter, son of Mrs. Pearl Hunter, left Sunday for Los Angeles, where he will make a visit with his grandmother. Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Wilcox spent Sunday afternoon with the Robinsons at Rocky Ford. On Friday last, Mrs. John Mc-Garry Mc-Garry was surprised by the force at the Milford Hotel with handsome I flowers and suitable gifts for her birthday anniversary. Mrs. Del Gardo and two small sons have returned from a short visit with relatives in Phoenix, Arizona. The Misses Beniti and Helen James, of Black Rock, were visitors the first of the week at the Merril Miller home. |
