Show BEAVER Mr. and Mrs. Warren Thompson and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Thomp-1 sen and son Jay, Mr. and Mrs. George' Booth, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Swindle-1 hurst, Mrs. Effie Conklin of Boisie, Idaho, and Mrs. Vern Thompson of Los Angeles are spending ten days at Puffer Lake. Mrs. Myles White and three children of Delta are visiting at the home of her uncle, Brul Ashworth this week, i Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnson of Salt Lake City motored into Beaver Thurs-: day of last week for a few days visit with Mrs. Johnson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Thompson. They spent one day at Puffer Lake fishing and return- ; ed to their home Saturday afternoon. : Mrs. Martha Williams spent Mon-. day visiting her grandchildren and' their families, Mrs. Ben Lewis and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Patterson at Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Harland Goodwin and son, Mrs. Mary Goodwin and son 1 ; Ralph, Mrs. Ray Goodwin and , daughter accompanied by Mrs. Martha Mar-tha Williams motored over to Milford 'Monday on business and visited relatives rela-tives at that place. Gilbert Briggs arrived home early Tuesday morning from Salt Lake City where he had an operation for goiter in the Government Hospital. He is much improved. Mr. and Mrs. Jim McGarry and daughters Mildred and Virginia of Riverside, California, spent several days visiting friends in Beaver. They were enroute to Salt Lake City for a visit with Mr. McGarry's brothers, j They will return to Beaver and spend i a few days more before leaving for 'their home in Riverside. While here they were guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Lessing, Miss Stella Burt and Mr. and Mrs. E. 0. Puffer. Miss Virginia an Nan Walker of Cedar City were visitors at the home of their grandmother, Mrs. Nancy K. Burt this week. Perle Ward of Parowan spent a few days with her sister, Mrs. Laban Burt. Mrs. Lena Levi and Mrs. Louise . Campbell of Milford spent Sunday ' visiting friends at .Beaver. , Clark Robinson arrived Sunday from Los Angeles, where he has been for the past four months, to visit friends and relatives. Miss Lurena Burridge returned home after a two weeks' vacation spent in California. i Mr. and Mrs. Royal Kimball spent Saturday and Sunday in Fillmore, guests of Mrs. Kimball's parents. Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Thompson and family of Cedar spent Tuesday even- ing the guest of Mrs. Mollie Farrer and Lurena Burridge. Mrs. C. C. Barton, accompanied by I Mr. and Mrs. Ray Barton, left Sunday Sun-day for Los Angeles, California, for a two weeks' visit with friends and relatives. Garth Pearce 4s spending his vacation vaca-tion in Salt Lake, the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Fallentine. Mr. and Mrs. Lew Mar Price and two small sons spent Saturday and Sunday at the big flat on a picnic party with trail trips taken Sunday on horseback. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Parsons and son Russell and Don Harris returned to their home after a two weeks visit vis-it with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Cockett. I Mr. and Mrs. Geo.
