Show A. E. Smith and family left Saturday Sat-urday for Los Angeles to attend the Olympic Game. Brig Waulfenstien, of St. George, was a week-end visitor at the honu-of honu-of his sister, Mrs. A. H. Connell, in this city. Sam Cline is transacting business and attending the Olympic games in Los Angeles this week. John Bowman was over from Beaver on business yesterday. Mrs. Harold Baxter is assisting in the Jefferson Merc, this week. Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Martin and Robt., Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Martin and son, of Salt Lake City, left Wednesday Wednes-day for Beaver for a few days' outing. out-ing. They will spend some time at Puffer Lake fishing. Mrs. W. F. Sterling of Caliente, Nev., spent a few days here visiting at the W. Cochrane home. Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Bradfield are nicely located in the Lee Gray home. Marie W. Vierow left for Caliente, Nev., this week. Mr. and Mrs. Will Nichols and family, accompanied by Mrs. Emma Edwards spent Saturday and Sunday enjoying an outing on the Mammoth, i near Pantruitch. Mrs. W. A. Moore anil children left Wednesday for Long Bench, Calif, to visit relatives. Harry Smurthwaite is here from Salt Lake City, vi.-iting friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Karl S. Carlton returned re-turned Monday evening from a short visit with their son and family in Salt Lake City. |
