Show RESOLUTIONS FAVOR FEDERAL DOMAIN CONTROL Resolutions passed at the recent convention of the Southern Utah association as-sociation of livestock men, have been drafted into final form, and copies have been sent to various interested parties throughout the state. The convention went on record as favoring federal control of the public domain to the extent that it will be regulated in such a way that it will preserve its utility to the livestock industry and make possible the continuance con-tinuance of the industry as already established. Serious opposition was expressed to the present system of giving financial fin-ancial aid to the industry by the bankers' Livestock corporation as it it is now administered, because of its cumbersomeness, excessive interest rate and the compulsory retention of 10 per cent of any loan made for the purchase of stock in the corporation. |
