Show .SOCIETY Class Pins For Graduation The Seniors held a meeting last week and decided to use class pins instead in-stead of rings for the emblem of graduation. Beginning this year we are starting a new tradition, which is, to have pins. The pins this year-will year-will be a black Mj set with small parts, and a gold chain leading to the guard. Before the year is over we hope to start many new traditions. Popcorn Ball Represents Seniors The seniors were represented by a "popcorn ball boot.h" at the fall festival, fes-tival, held November 7, at the High School. As we sold popcorn at our booth, we decorated it to represent a popcorn ball. The attention of many was drawn toward the cleverly decorated decor-ated booth in the north corner of the gymnasium. Mrs. A. E. Smith entertained the Monday night bridge club at her home Tuesday evening. Members present were Mrs. J. M. Williams, Mrs. A. M. Fotheringham, Mrs, R. M. Copeland, Mrs. C. C. Sloan, Mrs. For-tie, For-tie, Mrs. F. R. Levi; guests, Mrs. W. O. Carlson, Mrs. C. L. Ford. Prizes for points were won by Mrs. Sloan; honors, hon-ors, Mrs. Copeland; guest, Mrs. Carlson. Carl-son. Saturday Afternoon Bridge Club Mrs.Chas. E. Moore entertained at her home Saturday. The following ladies la-dies were present, Mrs. J.M. Williams, Mrs. W. C. Cates, Mrs. Wm, Morley, Mrs. C. C. Sloan, Mrs. R. M Copeland, Mrs. Writ. Cochrane, guests, Mrs. Wm. Broyles and her mother, Mrs. Wallen of Helper, Utah. Prizes for points Mrs. Morley, honors, Mrs. Sloan, consolation, Mrs. Cochrane, guest, Mrs. Broyles. Bridge Party Jeanette Kohler was hostess at a bridge party in honor of Reva Mat-tingly Mat-tingly who left for Ely, Nevada to spend the winter. Those present, Lora Bradfield, LaRue Blackburn, Eva and Gladys Coleman, Lillian Stone-hocker, Stone-hocker, Leah Richards, Hannora Hut-chins. Hut-chins. Prizes for high, LaRue Blackburn; Black-burn; low, Leah Richards. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served at midnight. Bridge Club Mrs. Louise Campbell entertained at bridge Thursday evening. The following fol-lowing members were present: Jeanette Jean-ette Kohler, Mildred Coon, Vara Vincent, Vin-cent, Vera Yepson, Ruth Landes, Audrey Aud-rey Broyles; invited guest, Maurine McMurphy. Score prizes for points, Audrey Broyles; honors, Vera Yepsen. After cards a dainty luncheon was served. Parly in Honor of Glee Club The officers of the Ladies Republican Republi-can club gave a party in honor of their Glee Club on Saturday evening last at the home of Mrs. Jack Langen-backer. Langen-backer. Three tables of whist were played, resulting in the first prize being be-ing won by Mrs. Ellingsworth and the consolation won by Mrs. Johnson. A very delicious lunch was served, in a very charming manner. The ladies of the club presented the members of the glee club with a beautiful potted plant. The evening was a social triumph. Social Hour Club Meets The Social Hour Club met last Thursday afternoon at the Club House with the executive officers as hostess. Part of the afternoon was spent painting the new card tables. At the business session the ladies decided to hold the annual dinner, with which they entertain the husbands and families, fam-ilies, on Thursday evening, November 20, at the Club House. This will take the place of the regular afternoon meeting of the club. All members are i urged to attend, each family provid-ing provid-ing its food and the sealing will be at one large table. The hour for this j dinner is set for 7:30 p. m. a program of entertainment is in preparation. , The committee in charge of tables and ; aru.ngeinent comprises the following: Mesdames McKnight, Jones, Thomas, 1 Fisher, Cates and Haskell.
