Show Partial Identification Made of Youth Killed Here February 12 After months of search for relatives relativ-es of the young man who was killed in the U. P. railroad yards in Milford on February 12, the body was identified, identi-fied, though not positively, Monday, by Mrs. Harvey Heath, of Price, as that of her son. The boy was found early on the morning of the 12th of February by William Baker, with one arm mangled mangl-ed and a severe scalp wound, where he had been struck by a train. He was taken to the Milford hospital where he died a few hours later without gaining consciousness. The body was emblamed and has been held at the Southern Utah Mortuary in this city while an extensive search has been made to locate relatives of the unfortunate young man. Description of the dead man was broadcast over KSL and many inquiries in-quiries have been received. A lady visiting at Minersville from Price, Utah, viewed the body a few weeks after it was found and identified it as the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Heath of Price, but they declared that-the young man was at home on February 12. However, as the mother moth-er failed to receive any word from her son as the months passed, she thought that they might have been mistaken in the date that the lad left, and this week she came to Milford Mil-ford to view the body. Owing to the accident in which the lad was killed, it was impossible to identify the body by its features, but the mother positively identified the clothing as those worn by her son when he left home, and by scars on the body, she was certain of the identity. iden-tity. She returned to Price to check up more closely on the date that their son left home, and expected to return re-turn to day with her husband for the purpose of further identification before be-fore claiming the body. |
