At Los Angeles they were joined by Mis? Helen James. They visited the principal prin-cipal cities and points of interest in California, Oregon and Washington, also spending some time in the new anil popular resort, Agua Caliente, Mexico. The redwood forests called forth the mo.-t exclamations of praise from the James', the unique beauty of the fern-draped trees compensating for the lack of paved roads. The trip was made in a Buick coupe nurchased from L. G. Clay. Mr. James states that the car demonstrated demonstrat-ed mountain grades are nothing to be feared. i
